Broadcast, not too thickly, on the surface, although be careful of the light seed. To help with broadcasting evenly we find mixing the seed with a little sand useful.

Not usually a problem.

Weeds

Use a stale seedbed as no or limited chemical control available. Cut around October after seed drop, and remove the cuttings where possible.
